The Rookies Rankings 2024 - The Game Assembly: Best in Northern Europe, Top 8 Globally

The Game Assembly has been recognized as one of the Top 8 Game Development Schools in the world for 2024 by The Rookies! This prestigious recognition highlights the exceptional talent and hard work of our students.

We are incredibly proud to announce that, out of 462 competing schools, The Game Assembly has been acknowledged as one of the top institutions globally. Our students have demonstrated outstanding creativity and dedication, earning us this esteemed recognition. Their innovative projects continue to set high standards in the industry.

Highlights from the Rankings

  • Game Design & Development: 8th place – positioning us among the best game development schools in the world and number one in Northern Europe.

  • Production Excellence - Mobile Games: A strong 4th place, with two teams receiving "Highly commended" (Hole-E-Mole) and "People's choice" (Between Life and Death) earlier this year.

  • Top 50 Creative Schools: Ranked among the most creative institutions that shaping the next generation of artists, designers, animators, and creative professionals.
